Battery Materials & Energy Laboratory

Advancing Battery Materials
for next-generation

Research Fields

Battery Material Synthesis & Design

We research the synthesis and design of battery materials. We propose high-performance cathode materials through various processes and methods.

Sustainability & Recycling

We recycle spent batteries to recover critical materials and reuse them as new cathode precursors, supporting a sustainable energy future.

All-Solid-State Battery Research

We research next-generation secondary batteries such as all-solid-state batteries and Li-sulfur batteries.

Lithium-Sulfur All-Solid-State Batteries

We develop lithium–sulfur battery systems by improving sulfur utilization.
Our work focuses on cathode design, interface stabilization, and reaction mechanism analysis.

Battery Material & Mechanism Analysis

We analyze the mechanisms occurring during charging and discharging, as well as material degradation.
